Last E3 we were all introduced to the new WiiU. Among the many other awesome features, one thing in particular stuck about the controller and it's tablet-like appearance.

The tablet-like controller for the Wii-U is an extremely interesting idea, especially with the ability to play a console game on the controller on the go. Its design opens up another world for drawing games, puzzle games, or new features that could be added to the kinds of games everyone likes, such as role-playing games or even first person shooters.

However, the RPG and FPS games may be a bit difficult to play on this kind of controller. Luckily, a new kind of controller, the WiiU Pro Controller has been announced by Nintendo. Notice it's similarity to controllers that consoles like the Xbox have adopted.

What this means for the WiiU is a hint towards a promise of a bigger market for games. Not only does the WiiU have the tablet-like controller available for casual gaming and for lighter gameplay, but there is now the WiiU Controller Pro used for more traditional games like those found on Playstation, Xbox, and those reminiscent of Nintendo's past.

Mark your calenders! This July, our wonderful affiliate Twilight Realm will be holding a Zelda marathon this July 7th at 6PM to July 10th at 6PM (UTC+1). Five people will be playing the most popular titles in the Zelda series for 72 straight hours. They will be raising money for Child's Play and giving out prizes!

They'll be streaming on Twitch.tv and on the website for the marathon itself. Prizes range from video game jewelry to Zelda merchandise to a Threadless gift certificate! They will be raffled off to donators and people tweeting the #trmarathon hashtag during the marathon.

So be sure to stop by and check out all the fun this July 7th! I know I will.

Our friends at My Nintendo News have shed some light on the information that a mysterious Ubisoft developer posted on an Italian message board. According to the developer, the price for the Wii U will be around $350 to $400 and will launch on November 23rd. This is pure speculation, however, as the official price for the console won't be announced until after the company's panel at E3 2012. The developer goes on to include a list of interesting and eye-opening tidbits about the console, some of which, in my opinion, seem far-fetched. Jump inside for the run-down.
