When I signed into the forums today, I got an angry message from someone who accused me of running away from Zelda Elements and Kasuto.net. Folks, I've never heard of either of those sites.

Mistaken identity is common for people who use unoriginal pseudonyms, myself included. "Maedhros" is a character from Tolkien's legendarium, not a name that I created. Short story short(er), the user apologized after I informed them of the above and (presumably) went on their merry way.

I made this a news story because this isn't the first time that I've been mistaken for someone else. I don't belong to another forum or site, so please don't fill my inbox with messages about how audacious I am to have posted such-and-such on so-and-so's forum.
