Let's be honest, we haven't posted news here for a while (Well over three months). This may come as a surprise seeing as how Skyward Sword is nearly here and we pretty much know everything about the game now. The surge of Skyward Sword information these past few months has been reminiscent to Twilight Princess's surge of information (Which is the main reason I started a Zelda site). Now, I've stated that posting Zelda related news is not my job, but my news staff seems to forget that they are a part of the news staff.

Now I'm not mad at my staff, I would've done the same thing. In fact, I did do the same thing. I have only myself to blame for the lack of news, especially because I check Zelda Informer every damn hour. Right now, neither my staff or I will post any of the info that has already been posted, seeing as you already probably know it all. It would be pointless.

However, I will post any news about SS from now on 'till release. I would also like to add that we are looking for dedicated news writers. If you're wondering if you'll be paid: Hahahhaha, no.

Great news for you folks who are waiting to buy a 3DS because it's so expensive! And, it's great news for you, too, current 3DS owner because you're getting rewarded.

Nintendo has cut the price of the 3DS from $249.99 to a more affordable $169.99, beginning August 12th, 2011.

Also, for those who already own a 3DS, Nintendo will be awarding you with 20 free virtual console games- 10 NES games and 10 GameBoy Advance games.

I can't wait for the 20 free games! Maybe I didn't waste $250 after all. Also, I don't think that price cut will boost 3DS sales that much, but you never know..

What's that? You think Ganondorf is going to be in Skyward Sword? Yes? Well, I guess it's possible. Chronologically, the first Legend of Zelda game he was in was Ocarina of Time. Because Ocarina of Time is first in the timeline, chances are slim that Ganondorf will make an appearance in Skyward Sword.

It was announced by Eiji Auonoma today that Ganon will not be making an appearance in Skyward Sword. This will be the sixth game that Ganon will not appear.

I'm glad Ganondorf isn't going to be in this game. He really shouldn't have been in Twilight Princess, and if he were to be in Skyward Sword, it would make the story of the series even harder to follow.
